So for those who are all working now and sometimes it seems like it's not the best job in the world or we get caught up in the doing rather than being thankful for His provision, I just wanted to share this verse with you. It's a big encouragement to me and even got my heart hopeful as well. I woke up this morning and ran across it and I felt compelled to share:

“Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life—in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing.”- Philippians 2:14-16

Panic Room

I don't know about all of you guys, but it seems that sometimes I have the craziest and most random dreams. It might be the headache that was causing it, or the super hot Korean tofu I had for lunch today, but either way, here's the story.

So it did kind of stem from lunch today, because it seemed like the group that was at lunch today was vividly captured in my dream as well. With the addition of Uncle Allen and Uncle Igor, Mindy, and the absence of Jen Shih and Amanda's Family (sorry, you don't make it in this time hah). So we're all sitting there eating what seemed to be Thai food, and then the desserts came out. I remembered uncle Allen downing his Coconut Rice while yelling out how much he loves his starch.

Pretty Normal up till now yes?

Here's when it gets interesting....

     So I decide to walk outside and I see this crazy lil kid just lighting fireworks and I'm like what is going on? So I followed him and trace him back to this truck where this old burly kinda guy was lighting all these illegal fireworks out of that back of his SUV and I called him out on it. Just like this...

     No questions at all, he started yelling at me and tried to attack me. So I ran off, and started calling the cops. Next thing I know it, he throws like this web thing at me, the web thing that wraps around your feet and imobilizes you. But no, this is not any ordinary one, it has fireworks laced to it, and it's LIT. So I struggle, and I panic, and i start running back to where we were all gathered eating dinner. At this point, I'm all flustered and disillusioned, and as i run back into the room, I look the door behind me. But i notice the crazy guy knocking and banging at the door. I think to myself "i'm really screwed, holy crap" and run towards the parents.
     Then i see it, a HUGE panic room where all the youth were put in.

Just like that. Look how scared Ruthee is. it's okay, Jodi's there for you.

So I run in tryin to hide as well, and Uncle Allen says "No, we must stay outside, and sacrifice ourselves and stop this man."
Uncle Allens desire to protect the youth inspired me, so what do i grab?

A freakin guitar stand, almost exactly like this one. Fold it up, and go out and go at this guy. I seriously upsided him on the head over 10 times. But nothing happens. Finally the cops come as we try to ward him off, and voila. Saved from the crazy man.

Moral of the story? If you want crazy dreams...marry Korean and have her cook you korean food all the time so it can mess with your head like it did for me. Yes, you may be broke, and be bossed around, but it's a small price for the fun and entertainment.

Me: Man, Korean girls are soo HM.
Jee Soo: Hey, I'm going out with a Korean Girl
Me: I KNOW
Jee Soo: Eh, you get what you pay for.

Pencil Lead

Okay, so I have NOT xanga'd at all all summer, but I guess I can try to make a special post here and there once in a while. Today's post has been brought to you because of a funny lil thing that occured this afternoon after church.

The story is of my lil sister Amanda, the Almighty Chipmunk.

So Amanda's away on a choir trip and her mom asked me to pick her up and drive her home since they are in Vegas. I drive over to the choir studio, help her grab all of her stuff, and we pack it all up. I sit down and she closes the door, but with a lil yelp. I think nothing of it and prepare to drive, but then she says that there is something that poked her and it's stuck. I have no idea what she's talking about until she starts telling me it hurts a lot. So I stop the car, go over to the other side and open the door. To my surprise, this is what I found, punctured in her right thigh...

A FRIGGIN PENCIL HEAD! Apparently the pencil was in her purse and it was lodged in the door and when she went to close it, it jammed it, straight into her thigh. I had to pull the thing out, it was about 2mm in...gross yes? So we head back to my place so I could tend to the lil chimpunk cuz it starts bleeding.

So here's a little lesson: Pencil lead is no longer PB, since any puncture it causes can lead to this:

lead poisoning. But alas, and lucky for her, pencil lead is graphite, carbon

if it were the first one, then we'd have a dead chipmunk

Yep, just like that.

Thank God. And again I say, only Amanda can puncture herself on accident with a pencil head.

I would show you guys the picture of the puncture, but I don't think you'd want to see her MASSIVE (according to Jen Shih) thighs hah.

Wow, I'm done with my college undergraduate career....it's kind of crazy.

Goodbye to my class...i really do love all of you from the bottom of my heart....

it's been a crazy and emotional and just all out hectic and exhausting week. And I wouldn't trade it for anything else in this world. I'll update when I get back from LTC and Mt. Hermon.

So the last 2 weeks have been 2 of the craziest of my entire life. There has been so much going on and it seems just like a blurr. Nights of little sleep, days packed with things to prepare and do, spiritual battles as well as blessings and joys and tears, and everything you can imagine wrapped all around the beginning of the end. So let's see what's been going on in Ervin's little life huh?

Senior Class

First and foremost, I want to dedicate this post to my senior class. It's been 4 crazy, funfilled and loving years of growth, laughs, tears, and so much more. I really do love all of you guys from the bottom of my heart and I am glad that i've been able to share in this life that God has given us together. I would not trade it for ANYTHING and I would gladly do it all over again with you guys. You are my family, and that will never change. Banquet this year was awesome. I can't believe we pulled it all together in what, 3 days?!?! It was ridiculous, it was fun, and we definetely went out with a bang. And Senior Guys: Great job on the song...hahah their faces were PRICELESS when we stayed on stage and the SHOCK and AWE factor really kicked in.

Frosh Class: Great job on your moving performance. You guys were really cute! I'm really glad I got to get to know a lot of you this year and I pray you really solidify your Identity in Christ and be able to look back on how faithful He was and is to you and your life. May you continue to live out life for Him.
Soph Class: Really proud of you guys and how you really came together to make this performance your very own. Awesome job of sharing your own experiences and being able to portray how God has changed you guys and taught you guys. Continue to strive to know Him as you are now going to be upper classmen. Serve, love, lead, and most importantly sacrifice for the underclassmen.
Junior Class: I am truly going to miss all of you guys. Thanks for an awesome 4 years. Your performance was awesome and very moving as well as touching. You guys rock and thank you so much for your dedication to our class. Yes, it did make me cry ahahah. As you go on to be the eldest, continue to love and serve the body of AACF. CBC Graduation Dinner

It was such an awesome time for the parents to serve us and make us REALLY GOOD FOOD, and A LOT OF IT. The parents of CBC wanted to thank the advisors and congradulate the graduates for this year from college. They even gave us huge cards and families adopted us!
